In the context of Mindshift. One's cooperation with KfW, a kick-off workshop for one of the bank's divisions took place just before Christmas. The project title was "Understanding Municipalities" and the participants left their offices for one day in order to work in Design Thinking mode. They found ideal creative surroundings at Impact Hub, a startup space in Berlin Kreuzberg. The team worked on gaining a mutual understanding of the project order and then learned about the meaning of research as an important part of the Design Thinking process. With their focus on gaining empathy for customer needs, the participants worked on an interview guide, which they later tested in several exercises.
The team managed to create a solid foundation for the research phase and left the workshop feeling motivated and excited for the upcoming interviews.
