This week began with a major Design Thinking workshop as part of our cooperation with KfW, during which we had the chance to generate lots of promising new ideas. The project team has been working on a vision image for their department since the end of May and already had the chance to collect valuable insights into the needs of different stakeholder groups in intensive interviews conducted over the past months.
This workshop week started off with two days of synthesis, during which the most important needs, goals and challenges were given a “human face“ in form of personas.
On the third workshop day the team worked on solutions together with guests and continued with the creation of prototypes. During the afternoon pitch, managers gave positive feedback and expressed their determination to further promote a Design Thinking mindset within KfW and keep supporting the project team in the course of their innovation journey.
The team has been successful in initiating change and has managed to inspire colleagues with their passion and engagement. We, too, are impressed and looking forward to working with this team and KfW to develop and eventually implement some of the fantastic ideas from this project.
