In the Prototype phase, you turn your most promising ideas into tangible prototypes. Additional requirements and potential challenges can be identified and you can develop new research questions and ideas. Design Thinking does not aim to build a perfect prototype – the first step is to create affordable and simple prototypes that represent the most important features and functionalities so that you can quickly present something your users can test. Interestingly, the Prototype phase can be combined well with the Lean Startup methodology.
